Novra Cache
vs FlyingPress
Both make WordPress pages open faster. Novra Cache does the work on your own server and adds a Script Manager – and you pay once instead of every year.
One payment · No subscription · 30-day money-back guarantee
We make Novra Cache. We compared Novra Cache 1.0.0 with FlyingPress 5.6.5 using both vendors' public websites and documentation. This is a feature and price comparison, not a speed benchmark.
The short answer
Pay once, not every year. Novra Cache is a one-time license with updates for the life of the license. FlyingPress is an annual license that renews automatically every year.
Your speed setup runs on your own server. Novra Cache builds ready-made pages, trims your code and processes your images on your server. Only Remove Unused CSS uses our service. FlyingPress's documentation says most of its optimizations rely on cloud processing.
Lighter images, made at home. Novra Cache creates WebP and AVIF on your own server, slims down JPEGs, PNGs and GIFs and leaves your image links as they are. FlyingPress sends images to its cloud and handles JPG and PNG only.
Turn off plugin files where they're not needed. Novra Cache has a built-in Script Manager for each page. FlyingPress's documentation does not describe one.
Where FlyingPress leads: it tracks your real visitors' Core Web Vitals, analyses each page in its cloud, delays off-screen sections, caches full pages in Cloudflare and offers its own CDN. Details below.

What you pay over three years
FlyingPress costs less in the first year for a single site. From the second year on, Novra Cache is cheaper, because there is nothing to renew. Here is the math with the same number of websites on both sides.
| Websites | Novra Cache (paid once) | FlyingPress (per year) | FlyingPress, 3 years | Difference after 3 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Personal: $79 | Starter: $59 | $177 | $98 less with Novra Cache |
| 3 | Business (up to 5): $149 | Pro: $109 | $327 | $178 less with Novra Cache |
| 5 | Business: $149 | Business (up to 25): $229 | $687 | $538 less with Novra Cache |
| 25 | Agency: $249 | Business: $229 | $687 | $438 less with Novra Cache |
| More than 25 | Enterprise (unlimited): $399 | Unlimited: $279 | $837 | $438 less with Novra Cache |
How we calculated it: FlyingPress's listed yearly price × 3 years. Novra Cache's one-time price. For each row we picked the smallest plan on each side that covers that number of websites. FlyingPress's 3-site plan does not cover 5 websites, so the 5-site row uses its 25-site plan. Renewal discounts, upgrades, FlyingCDN fees and future price changes are not included. Check both checkouts for the current terms.
For one website, the first year costs $79 with Novra Cache and $59 with FlyingPress. Novra Cache costs less from the second year on: $79 in total versus $118 after two years of FlyingPress. The same goes for 3 sites, 25 sites and unlimited sites: FlyingPress is cheaper in year one, Novra Cache from year two.

Which one is right for you?
Choose Novra Cache if …
You'd rather pay once than renew every year – especially across several client sites.
You want your cache and speed settings to run on your own server, not depend on a cloud service.
You want lighter images – GIFs included – made on your own server, without your image links being rewritten.
Your pages load plugin files they don't use, and you want to switch them off page by page.
Your host uses an NGINX server cache, or you want finer control over Heartbeat and link prefetching.
You want an AI agent to adjust your settings, with a snapshot you can roll back.
Choose FlyingPress if …
You want your real visitors' Core Web Vitals tracked inside the plugin.
You want a cloud service to analyse each page and tune CSS, fonts and images for you.
You want full pages cached in Cloudflare, or a CDN from the same vendor.
You need cache for logged-in users, WP-CLI commands or automatic clearing for your host.
Not sure? Install Novra Cache on your own site and judge it there. If it's not the right fit, request a full refund within 30 days.
Where FlyingPress is stronger
A fair comparison names both sides. These are the areas where FlyingPress does more today.
Real visitor speed data.
FlyingPress measures Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS and TTFB) from your real visitors and shows them in its dashboard. Novra Cache does not measure visitors.
Automatic page analysis in the cloud.
FlyingPress's cloud optimizer works out which styles, fonts and first-screen images each page needs. Novra Cache removes unused CSS through its service, uses critical CSS you enter yourself and picks main images and fonts by rules you set.
Lazy Render.
FlyingPress delays drawing complex sections until visitors scroll near them. Novra Cache does not.
Full pages cached in Cloudflare.
FlyingPress sets up Cloudflare to cache whole pages, even on the free plan and without APO. Novra Cache clears Cloudflare but does not set it up.
Its own CDN.
FlyingPress offers FlyingCDN as a paid add-on, from $10 per domain per month. Novra Cache has no CDN and does not rewrite file links.
Object cache included.
FlyingPress includes Redis object caching (Redis must run on your server). For Novra Cache, that's a separate plugin: Novra Object Cache.
Cache for logged-in visitors.
FlyingPress can cache pages per user role, without its front-end optimizations. Novra Cache always shows logged-in users live pages.
More ready-made integrations.
FlyingPress has WP-CLI commands, clears the cache of nine hosting providers plus Varnish, and documents support for multilingual and multi-currency plugins. Novra Cache clears Cloudflare and NGINX server caches.
Scheduled cache refresh.
FlyingPress can rebuild all cached pages every 2, 6, 12 or 24 hours. Novra Cache uses a cache lifespan instead.
Quick start.
FlyingPress advertises setup in minutes with few settings to choose. Novra Cache starts with caching and code changes off, so you turn them on step by step.
Longer track record.
FlyingPress released version 1.0 in July 2020 and is now at version 5.6.5. Novra Cache is at version 1.0.0. FlyingPress also runs on PHP 7.4, Novra Cache needs PHP 8.1.
If none of these is a must-have for your sites, Novra Cache covers the rest – on your own server, and you pay for it once.
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Is Novra Cache a subscription like FlyingPress?
No. Every Novra Cache plan is a one-time payment with updates for the life of the license. There is no renewal date and nothing to cancel. FlyingPress's license renews automatically every year. According to its documentation, manual or early renewals are not supported.
What happens if I stop paying for FlyingPress – and what about Novra Cache?
According to FlyingPress's documentation, the plugin needs an active license to work fully, and most optimizations rely on cloud processing. After you cancel, optimization from the cloud and page caching from the cloud stop, and so do updates and support. Novra Cache has no expiry to worry about: you pay once and keep your updates. Ready-made pages, code improvements and images run on your own server. Remove Unused CSS is the only feature that needs your active license.
Can I run Novra Cache and FlyingPress together?
Not as two page caches. Only one plugin can be your page cache, so switch FlyingPress off before you turn on caching in Novra Cache. FlyingPress's documentation also recommends using no other caching or optimization plugin alongside it.
How do I switch from FlyingPress to Novra Cache?
Make a backup of your site and note your FlyingPress settings first, especially excluded pages and scripts. If you used FlyingPress image optimization, restore your original images in FlyingPress before you deactivate it, so your content points to the original files again (this works only if you kept the originals). Then deactivate FlyingPress and activate Novra Cache. Novra Cache does not import FlyingPress settings, so set it up step by step: check the health panel, turn on page caching, then add code and image improvements one group at a time. Check your key pages while logged out after each step. The Novra Cache documentation explains each setting. Our step-by-step switch guide walks you through it.
How do I go back if something doesn't fit?
- Deactivate Novra Cache.
- Reactivate FlyingPress (it needs an active license) and check your settings.
- Clear your Cloudflare and host cache, then check your key pages while logged out.
Inside Novra Cache you can also export your settings as a file before you change them, and reset everything from the Tools tab. If you connect an AI agent, Novra Cache saves a snapshot before each settings change, so the agent can undo it in one step. And if Novra Cache isn't the right fit, request a full refund within 30 days.
Will Novra Cache make my site faster than FlyingPress?
We don't promise that. Both plugins use the same main techniques: ready-made pages, leaner code and lazy loading. FlyingPress does more of its analysis in its cloud. Novra Cache does more of the work on your own server. The difference is what else you get and how you pay. The best test is your own site: measure it with our free speed test, try Novra Cache, and compare.
PAY ONCE. KEEP IT.
Your speed setup, on your own server – paid for once.
